Flu Clinic Directions

Flu Clinic Directions

We will be starting our Flu Vaccination clinics for the Under 65s At Risk and for the Over 65s from mid October. This year we will be doing things very differently in order to protect both patients and staff.

There will be a one way system in place with a socially distanced queue into to surgery starting from our back door.  You will be given a time slot to attend -

PLEASE

DO NOT

ATTEND EARLY

You will make your way into the surgery following the directions and then proceed to get your vaccination. This will be given by our Practice Nurse at her door rather than being called into her room.

Please bare this in mind when dressing to come for your vaccination as there will be no privacy this year.

PLEASE WEAR A SHORT SLEEVED SHIRT OR T-SHIRT

with your jacket on top for warmth.

As you proceed to the front of the queue, you will be asked to remove your jacket, then when it is your turn, to roll up your sleeve so it sits up on top of your shoulder and to relax your arm so our Practice Nurse can inject the vaccination.

Once vaccinated, a member of staff will open the main

Surgery door for you to exit off to the left and up the stairs.
